The goal of jury persuasion techniques is to convince. However, the rapid pace of technological, demographic and cultural change in American society has significantly affected the methods used to accomplish that goal. Research shows that media images have resulted in higher expectations for lawyers and trials. Jurors expect real lawyers to perform as effectively as those portrayed on TV and in the movies. Lawyers who fall short of those expectations run the risk of creating an unfavorable impression of themselves and their case. As a result, understanding effective jury persuasion techniques in today’s society is an important step in maximizing your chances of winning at trial.
Please join guest speaker Caren Drapeau for an exploration of the distinctive visual persuasion techniques which serve as a bridge between the experts and the decision makers. In this session, Ms. Drapeau will discuss the most effective approaches for crystallizing and clarifying complex data into simplified, informative chapters that are easily understood by their audiences.
For your convenience, we will offer this webinar at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM Pacific Time on August 7th.
